-Problem-

Years ago, aircraft manufacturers built airframes with drop-down landing lights to reduce drag. They worked great until a gear in the drive assembly breaks preventing extension and leaving you in the dark. Or, if the gear locks up while deployed, it causes unnecessary drag, or leaves the light beam  shining in the wrong direction (Plus, they are just plain ugly). Additionally, replacing or overhauling these assemblies can be costly.

Reds Aircraft offers the HID replacement landing light solution. Our kit completely removes the drop landing lights and replaces them with a HID light system. Two HID lights are installed in the outboard leading edge of both wings giving you both recognition and landing lights. They look fantastic, draw less amps, and really light up the runway like never before! For best performance, install our HID nose gear light kit in addition to the landing lights.

*Note, your aircraft must have the short style deice boots installed for this to fit. Kits for Cessna Conquest II 441, 402C, and 425.
